Yarn and Fibery goodness. 4/11/2-16 From Cold, but sunny Ann Arbor, MI where yarn is keeping me warm.

www.goat rodeofiber.com. I do sell hand dyed yarn and the shop can be found at www.liedelfiber.com, where it is updated every Friday at 6pm Eastern Daylight time or Eastern Time when we are not saving our daylight. I am getting more comfortable with Instagram, since I joined the universe with my new smartphone and the name of my instgram feed has changed to liedelfiber.

I live in Michigan with my husband of 22 years, our four boys, 19-11 and a couple of cats. I do think I forgot to mention one of the favorite family members, Squidgee, the rat. She is almost a year and a half old, so we are into her ratty old age, but she is delightful and I adore her. No, she is not allowed around the yarn.

Ubiqui-tea:

This week’s preferred tea is going to be featured, a lot! Celestial Seasonings, Bengal Spice, or “Tiger Tea,” as my kids call it. They love the box. 11, or almost 19, it’s always going to be, Tiger Tea.

And two of the bags I love are from, https://www.etsy.com/shop/dancingsheep

WiP’s

I knit my socks with my tired brain and Sox Therapist Fish Lips Kiss Heel. https://www.etsy.com/shop/dancingsheep

I’m working on my version of a folded poncho pattern from Churchmouse Yarns and Tea. http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/easy-folded-poncho. I am seed stitching along the sides and the bottom 11 stitches, because of my irritation at the Stockinette Curl in general. Nothing personal.

I am currently really loving my Lattice Shawl by Maria Montzka from the Stitched in Sweden Podcast. http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/lattice-13. I love it so much, I’m following the pattern, almost. I still did yarn over’s at the edges and in the middle. I’m addicted, no apologies

Finished Objects:

Three pair of socks for my #boxosox knit along from the brainpan of Kristin from the Yarngasm Podcast and Voolenvine yarn.

Sew-Torn:

Lovely fabric I got from Joanne Fabric and Crafts on sale and two patterns, Butterick, and McCalls. Numbers to be added this week. Maybe even cutting out.

Contests:

To be announced this week, on the usual Thursday Podcast, (this was a make-up edition), a contest for a book, or one of two skeins of a yarn.

Shop Update.

Friday the Tax Day, I mean the 15th of April at 6pm Eastern Daylight Time.

Thank you!!!!
